The Blue Check Marks But the blue check marks proved to be a poser for a time. The most careful scrutiny failed to reveal that erasures of blue check-marks had been made. These marks, it should be explained, are made by the Assessors opposite names on petitions that should be counted. Experiments showed that it would be difficult to conceal evidence of erasures of these marks. --The Buffalo Commercial, 23 May 1894

A great @SBSNews article on culture, race and ethnicity and how Australia has a lot of work to do to be inclusive about our growing multicultural society. sbs.com.au/news/article/youl…

This week’s column: COVID "eats your heart, and kills your brain" … well,at least that’s what it seems to do to the body politic abc.net.au/news/2023-01-21/c… via @ABCaustralia

COVID is still wreaking havoc across Australia but when it comes to pandemic politics … crickets

The Albanese government finished 2022 having achieved significant legislative reform. But it is starting 2023 looking like it hasn't really thought through what it has to say about COVID, let alone...

Thought I'd crunch some numbers to see who fares better in terms of average speed for a terminus to CBD journey, and here are the results.
