The Atlanta Braves join the Phillies and Major League Baseball in mourning the lives lost in Israel and pray for the safe return of those who are missing. Our thoughts are with all who are impacted by the horrific violence.

What’s better than getting drafted? Having your best friend and your brother by your side when you do. Congratulations to @willking16_ (@EKUBaseball) on getting drafted by the @Braves! #CapeLeague #MLBDraft

"I did a good job shortening up with two strikes and swinging at the right pitches," Will King said.
King's approach sparked a monster three-hit four RBI day, which was more than enough for YD to cruise to a third-straight win.

Make that four RBI’s for Will King. His two-out single makes it 8-2 YD. 16 RBI’s on the season now, good for third in the @OfficialCCBL. @willking16_ @EKUBaseball @codball – at South Yarmouth, MA

Cape League Scout Deck Spotlight:
Will King (@EKUBaseball) has been a very consistent bat for the @YD_RedSox lineup. He has also done a great job behind the dish.
He is 4th among all hitters in batting average at .327 and boasts a K% of less than 5%. King has been solid defensively as well. He’s thrown out 7 runners so far this summer.

Will King (@EKUBaseball) is having an absurd day already. He’s got a homer, and thrown out two runners at second. It’s only the second inning.
YD leads, 4-0.

Only through the top of the fifth, King is already 2-3 with 3 RBI’s.
Brought here as a temporary player, King’s impact cannot be questioned as he continues to mash for Y-D.
