I am campaigning for Robbie's Law, which would make it a legal requirement for ALL Healthcare Profess to be truthful following a medical error.

A massive thank you to Cindy Butts the Independent Advocate for England & Wales for mentioning Robbie's case yesterday to the Public Administration and Constitutional Committee & for requesting the Ministry of Justice extends her jurisdiction to individual cases such as Robbie's.

Thank you Steve for your continuing support of Robbie' case and 'Robbie's Law'. Truth, Justice and Accountability for Robbie or I will die in the process. The NHS and State corruption has already taken half my life 1990-2026. RIP Robbie xx robbieslaw.com

Today, the Lampard Inquiry begins hearings to consider whether urgent recommendations are needed on observations, monitoring technology, emergency response and resuscitation in mental health hospitals. Behind those words are people who should have come home. My son Matthew is one of them. Nearly fourteen years after his death, I am still fighting to establish the truth about his care, how he was found and what happened when he needed help. For families like mine, these hearings concern the most basic promises of hospital care: that someone will check on your loved one, recognise when something is wrong, call for help and know what to do. Technology cannot replace listening, compassion or properly trained staff. An alarm only protects someone if it brings a timely response. I want these hearings to lead to clear, enforceable action—with named responsibility and checks that changes actually happen. Families have already paid the highest price. Patients in hospital today cannot wait years for safety. Matthew was loved. He had a life ahead of him. His death must lead to more than another report and another promise. I will keep fighting for truth, accountability and care that protects people. #MatthewsCampaign #LampardInquiry #PatientSafety #MentalHealth

In 1996 my wife & I forfeited an estimated 300k compensation when we refused to settle out of court & challenge the absence of a Legal Duty of Candour. Even the 80k awarded to my wife for psychological injury was taken in legal costs. We ended up with nothing but the exposure.

Thank you for your comments and support Stuart. It's worse than than just falsifying medical records. The GPs & the paediatrician removed the Addison's letter from the GP & hospital records with the knowledge I had read it & it had been witnessed by a Reverend=despicable!

Gaslighting is their strategy. It's driven by a desire to *reduce litigation costs* instead of finding the truth or improving quality of care. The ability to gaslight others is almost a criterion for moving up the ranks. Good/great staff not promoted. Lovely photo of Robbie.

It is disgusting but a prime example of the cover up nature of the NHS, sadly supported by govts and the bodies that should be ensuring a safe and honest system. CQC PHSO

All thanks should go to you, Will Powell, for your tireless efforts in the pursuit of justice to make sure that what happened to your beautiful son never ever happens again. It was preventable. There should never have been a cover-up, especially by those licensed to provide care.

The Robbie Powell case shows that Doctors do sometimes write fraudulent notes to put a shine on their clinical practise. Investigations should be evidence based and free from pre conceived ideas in my opinion.
I think that having been approved on evidential grounds, the idea that charges in the Robbie Powell case fail the public interest test is questionable. Considering the ongoing controversy surrounding Dr Evans and his role in the current Lucy Letby case.

People keep asking what real whistleblower protection should actually look like. Edna's Law already answers that. It's named after a care home resident who was given ten times the safe dose of her medication, four times a day, while people kept ignoring the warnings. Eileen Chubb built the law around that failure. It's simple. If an employer ignores a genuine whistleblower, that becomes a criminal offence. The whistleblower gets treated as a protected witness. If someone retaliates against them, that's a crime too, not just a slap on the wrist in a civil case. No fines to fight over, no cut of a payout, nothing for anyone to profit from. Just real consequences for the people who let Edna die, and real protection for the next person who tries to stop it happening again. Sign and share the petition: change.org/p/protect-the-pro…
THE FIRST WHISTLEBLOWER LAW IN THE UK GOT DESTROYED ON ITS FIRST TRY In 1999, seven care workers at a BUPA @BupaUK care home in Bromley noticed something horrible. Elderly residents were being overdosed and physically abused by staff. So they did the normal human thing. They reported it. BUPA did the normal corporate thing. Instead of sacking the abusers, they shuffled them off to other care homes, like a bad Tinder date you just relocate instead of deleting. The seven workers, led by Eileen Chubb @CompassnInCare, kept pushing. Eventually they were squeezed out of their jobs entirely. This became the first ever case under the UK's brand new whistleblower law, the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998. Fresh law, first real test, should have been an easy win for the good guys, right. Wrong. The tribunal agreed safety rules were broken. Then it let BUPA stand up and call all seven of them liars, while the independent report proving they were right stayed locked out of the courtroom. Imagine being told you're lying, in a room where the evidence that you're not lying isn't allowed in. Parliament eventually noticed. In 2004 MP John Horam handed in their petition and the press nicknamed them the BUPA Seven. Eileen Chubb turned the whole ordeal into a charity, Compassion in Care, which has now logged over 15000 complaints from care settings. She still campaigns for #EdnaLaw, named after a resident who died after years of documented abuse that nobody with actual power bothered to stop. 25 years later the pattern hasn't changed. @stevemiddi1 @Victoria_Rixon @MLorrM @nw_nicholas @sharmilaxx Sources @BBCNews @PrivateEyeNews @guardian @Channel4News

In my view there is irrefutable evidence that Morriston Hospital conspired with the GPs to, inter alia, falsify Robbie's medical records by removing & substituting the Addison's letter, the post death GP referral letter & deleting hosp computer records! youtu.be/ALuGWLEGn9Y?is=o7tM…

Thank you for your suppotive comments. NHS cover ups wouldn't be possible, in my view, without the assistance of co-conspirators. What explains why Dyfed Powys Police & CPS Wales ignored irrefutable evidence for 6 years that an independent DCI turned into 35 suggested charges?
