Wow!!
Surprised but not shocked by Coach Saban stepping down. Best to ever do it. From 2008-2023 he compiled a record of 199-16!!!! That’s an average of 12 wins in the last 16 seasons. As consistent and good as the sport has ever seen!
Thank you coach for all you put into the great sport of CFB! Excited to see what’s next!

Vince Lombardi said, “Leaders are made, they are not born. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work."
Leadership is your behavior.
It's about turning a vision into a reality, whether it's leading yourself or a team.
When you lead a team, guide them with connection and influence. You need to:
• Empower others
• Build relationships
• Communicate and connect
When you lead yourself, guide yourself with logic and reason. You need to:
• Be disciplined
• Engage in critical thinking
• Approach challenges with focus and resilience
6 Competences that ALL Leaders Need:
1. Accountability - Embrace responsibility for your actions and decisions because this ensures honesty and integrity in all you do.
2. Adaptability - Stay flexible and open-minded. Alter your strategies as needed because circumstances will always change.
3. Collaboration - Engage with yourself and your team. Think through different options and combine logical thinking with emotional intelligence for effective decision making.
4. Communication - Express yourself effectively and actively listen. This creates an effective way to receive feedback, measure progress, and listen to yourself and others.
5. Resilience - Overcome setbacks with resilience, maintaining your focus and drive amidst challenges.
6. Self-awareness - Recognize your strengths and weaknesses, be aware of your impact on others, and continuously pursue personal development. You can't lead or grow without being aware.

Vince Lombardi said, "Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”
Winning is Hard. Winning is a habit.
But how does it happen?
Here are 5 Reasons Teams Win.
1: Culture of WE
Teams that WIN have a WE > ME mindset in their team culture. They are TEAM first. They are connected. Roles are clearly defined and accepted. Athletes excel in their roles.
2. Leadership
Winning teams have outstanding leadership. Both Player Leadership and Coach Leadership. Leaders set clear goals, communicate effectively, and make tough decisions when needed. Strong team leaders create a ➕ team culture and hold teammates accountable.
3: Talent and Skills
Winning teams have enough talent. They need defined roles. Each team member brings their unique strengths to the table. Together they form a cohesive unit that can accomplish great things. They combine their talent with a WE > ME Mindset.
4: Resilience and Adaptability
Teams that win are resilient. They can adapt in the face of challenges. They can bounce back from setbacks and learn from failures. This is shown through toughness and grit.
5: Hard Work and Dedication
Winning teams put in the hard work and dedication required to achieve their goals. They are committed to their mission. A team that is motivated and focused can achieve great things and WIN.
