What's Wiiides? A thread 🧵 It's an on-chain conceptual artwork by @sterlingcrispin. The Wiiides smart contract consumes and edits data directly from the on-chain CryptoPunks, and widens the images when transferred wiiides.com/ But, there's a lot more going on: 1/

Still one of my favourite pfp projects Punks but make 'em wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide
wiiides@wiiides30 Aug 2025
That's basically the thought process that made @wiiides ! Why not use the medium of transfers and transactions as a way to change an #NFTs and 'destroy' it. Punks are the iconic collection. And Width is the most powerful force of nature, so it was an easy choice.

This @wiiides #NFT not just wide. It's WIDER. It's WIIIIIIIDES. It's expanding past the blockchain, past the screen, past my patience. Not limited limity infinity. Width so wide it's bending dimensions. #NFT #NFTCRYPTO 😂📏↔️♾

Anyone remember the @wiiides They were one of the first projects to collect metadata from the @cryptopunks and transform them into this pfp collection where with every transaction (be it transfer or sale) the image gets wider and wider... I've still got this one up for grabs on OS Buck Teeth, 3D glasses.... I also hold a female one with red mohawk and black lipstick
