I'm starting stil.fyi/en I've been building a minimal wardrobe: fewer pieces, no logos, quiet colours. Stil is the tool I wanted for it. Looking for a new wardrobe and want to dress like a gentleman for every occasion? This might be for you!

I’m in a small WhatsApp group with friends where we roast each other for building everything and never showing any of it to anyone. It has escalated and we now reply with EDM bangers lol The chorus is “Du hast nicht geliefert”, German for “you didn’t ship”

My mom started using our mail product this week. She reads her mail in Apple Mail on her phone and signs in to the web app for the AI helpers. Same mailbox, both at once. There is no mail server behind it. A stateless IMAP/SMTP bridge talks to the mail client and calls our @convex backend over HTTP. All mail lives in one database

Why this matters: a mailbox is now just a query. The server decides what a mail client sees. Shared inboxes for a team, each person in their own mail client * Vacation cover with a start and end date * Support queues as folders: open, mine, waiting, done * AI reply drafts that show up in the Drafts folder Shared inboxes are in the works. The rest is a backend change away

@jonathan_wilke for my inner monk 🙏 outer radius ≠ inner radius + padding on the sides

px-3 => px-1.5 (or p-1.5)

The bridge is a small Go service with no storage of its own. A restart loses nothing How are others solving this? I'm thinking about open-sourcing it with a backend-agnostic contract (Convex, Supabase, bring your own). Or is that pointless now that you can just ask your LLM to build one?

Then the useful part: which piece to buy next. Every missing piece shows how many new outfits it would unlock with what you already have. Sand chinos: +8. Save it with one tap – the number stays put

In the catalog: filter by I own this / Saved / Missing, and sort by what adds the most

Plus a calmer navigation: Discover / Wardrobes / Studio / Mine. Everything that's yours in one place, with a one-tap buy sheet per outfit Fewer pieces. More outfits. → stil.fyi :)
