Glitz. Glamour. And a roaring throwback twist
The Avenues Clinic’s 5th Doctors Appreciation Cocktail 2026 saw Harare turn on the sparkle and the nostalgia, erupting into a full-blown old school spectacle where vintage style met modern-day heroism.
In a room pulsing with glitz and throwback glamour, doctors and their patients stepped out in bold retro fashion, celebrating not just the era but the life-saving work that defines these medical professionals. This was more than a party. It became a powerful salute to the hands that heal, the minds that diagnose, and the prescriptions that quietly change lives.
Then came the stories.
Patients took the floor, delivering raw and deeply personal testimonies of moments when intervention, precision, and care from Avenues Clinic doctors altered the course of their lives, in some cases saving them entirely.
Beneath the vintage aesthetic and polished cocktails stood a clear and resounding message. Behind every diagnosis lies dedication, behind every recovery stands relentless expertise, and at Avenues Clinic, that commitment remains as timeless as the old school theme that lit up the night.

#Watch: The Avenues Clinic, where broken bodies find healing and shattered lives, find hope

Grief. Pain. Survival. And the fragile return to hope.
From mothers carrying the weight of loss, to patients who walked into theatre uncertain and came out with a second chance at life, from cancer battles to relentless chest and back pain, these voices tremble with everything they have endured.
They do not just speak about treatment. They speak about being held together in their most broken moments, about compassion that felt human, about care that felt like home when life was slipping away.
These are not just testimonies. They are lived battles, and the quiet hands help them keep going.
