Hey @easyJet you’ve cancelled our flight from Berlin to London and we have 42 students with us. We’ve had no information, offers of food vouchers or seen anyone, just told to collect our baggage and shoved back to arrivals. It’s been over 4 hours now. Poor poor show.

On October 13, over 12 girls from the Camas cross country team walked off the field in protest of being forced to run against a boy.
The night before, five seniors quit the team, including three team captains. Other girls showed up for the race out of uniform and refused to step up to the starting line. These girls showed immense courage, integrity, and solidarity.
While I’m so proud of these girls, they should never have been put in a position to become student activists to protect girls’ sports. Adults should have intervened before this ever became an issue.
Parents tell me these girls wanted their message seen and their voices heard, but they don’t want to keep doing this. I want these girls to know we’ve heard their voices, received their message, and now adults are taking responsibility for what happens next.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, we will be returning to Camas to hold a rally of support and solidarity for our girls.
Courage calls to courage, and the community has heard the call of Camas Courage from these brave girls.
As the years have gone by, the issue of boys in girls’ sports has become more and more contentious. There is something WA State adults can do to stop this right now and protect girls’ sports now and forever: vote YES on 638 Fairness in Girls Sports to ensure that girls’ sports remain single-sex.
Right now, the rules say any boy can compete in girls' sports simply by declaring a new identity. The rules are unjust and harmful to our daughters. Adults need to know they don't need a permission slip for courage. Now is the time to stand up!

Translation:
Heavily male-dominated @LGBTLabour thinks men with trans identities should be on women's wards and use women's toilets & changing rooms.
The law says no.
The NHS says no.
Women say no.
Stop bringing @UKLabour into disrepute.
This is a mess - and will cause real harm to trans people.
Trans exclusion, whether in healthcare or other spaces, is an indignity.
We will always stand against it 🏳️⚧️✊

A message to NHS Trust Chairs and Chief Executives:
The publication of national guidance must be followed by a clear review of local policies and practice.
Trust Boards should be able to demonstrate what has changed, when changes were implemented and how compliance is being monitored.
This requires leadership, not simply another policy document. @SexMattersOrg @ForWomenScot @DarlingtonUnion england.nhs.uk/long-read/gui…

📢 NHS STAFF – OVER TO YOU!
@NHSEngland has published new guidance on single-sex staff facilities, including toilets, changing rooms and showers.
Tag your NHS Trust here on X – just in case they missed it!
Ask them to confirm a deadline for updating and implementing their policies.
If possible, write directly to your Trust Board and repeat the request.

Shame on @BBCWomansHour for asking about discrimination against transgender people in interview about NHS single sex provision without also contextualising the fact that failure to provide single sex facilities is a form of indirect sex discrimination.
"It's a complicated situation"
"We need to think about timelines"
Although Darlington Nurses case was mentioned I heard nothing about the facts of indirect discrimination.

📢 CALL TO ACTION. NHS ENGLAND MUST ANSWER FOR ITS FAILURES. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
Following today’s publication of its single-sex guidance, you can submit a question directly to the NHS England Board.
This is your opportunity to demand answers about women’s rights, unlawful policies and the treatment of staff who spoke out.
📅 Next Board meeting: 27 November 2026
✉️ Submit a question (up to 100 words) to [email protected] by 12 noon on 17 November.
Ask them:
▪️ What are the deadlines for implementation?
▪️ How will NHS trusts be held accountable for compliance?
▪️ Will data collection reflect biological sex?
▪️ Will the NHS restore accurate language for women and stop calling women “people with a cervix”?
▪️ Will pregnant women no longer be asked how they identify? Will the NHS stop asking men if they could be pregnant?
▪️ Will staff be free to raise concerns about single-sex spaces without bullying or punishment?
▪️ Will staff and patients who suffered discrimination and harm receive an apology?
▪️ Who will be held accountable for years of unlawful policies and the bullying of staff who dared to speak out?
Publication is not implementation. Guidance is not accountability.
NHS England must not be allowed to quietly move on without answering for its failures.
✊ Submit your question. Demand answers. Demand action. Demand accountability.

🚨 We're already hearing that some NHS Trusts are looking for ways around the guidance.
🔄 "Case-by-case" exemptions. Replacing single-sex spaces with larger gender-neutral facilities. Reducing women to small cubicles instead of restoring proper provision.
⚖️ The law is clear.
📢 @NHSEngland must act swiftly and decisively against any Trust attempting to frustrate implementation.
⚠️ Consider this fair warning: if it happens, nobody can say they didn't see it coming.
🤔 If Trusts knowingly ignore the law and guidance, will NHS indemnity still apply, or will the public be left footing the bill for avoidable legal claims? 💷

The NHS policy of including males in female spaces has had devastating results for women's safety, as our ground-breaking NHS Reports revealed.
🚩 Over a four year period more than 6,500 rapes and sexual assaults - some against children under 13 - were committed in hospitals in England and Wales.
🚩 In Scotland 276 sexual assaults and 12 rapes were committed between 2019 and 2024 in just 57 of Scotland’s 198 hospitals.
The NHS put women and children in harm’s way with its relentless drive for ‘inclusion’ of males in the female estate. The news that the NHS in England will finally comply with the law is good news and long overdue.
