Thanks for a beautiful peaceful flight this morning @wickersworld perfect conditions for my first balloon flight 😊 to celebrate my half century 🥂
#OnThisDay in 1999 the Breitling Orbiter 3 took off from Switzerland. It was the first balloon to circumnavigate the globe without landing and was flown by expert pilots Piccard & Jones. The flight covered 40,814 KM and took just under 20 days, eventually landing in Egypt 🎈🌍
