What a weekend we just had! We celebrated 4 years of our commitment to global energy access and had @jhruth from The Solar Foundation @Solar_FND come celebrate with us ✨

It's been a while coming but the new generation of our smart meters are finally here! Meet Maxwell, the hardware catalyst for decentralised energy in the Global South 🌎 Getting coupled 🔧

How do we get to full autonomy? Unlike newly formed Web3 ecosystems, the energy sector has and is still at the mercy of government regulations that may limit growth, especially in Africa.

DePIN is for Africa. Why? Really don't see how access to basic infrastructure in Africa will rise in the next few years without the use of blockchain tech. The economics agree! Surely there's an exciting future behind these walls of regulation 👀

We're not lost wondering how to generate $100 billion yearly to reach Africa's renewable energy goals. We're building a new version of our smart meter to work with large scale energy projects such as solar farms. Build and Scale 🚀

We chase this vision of decentralised energy networks because it unlocks solutions for the electricity challenges in underserved regions. The challenges usually include corrupt funding systems, limited investments, centralised authority, and lack of infrastructure DEnergy 🔜 🌍
