👁️ Tonight on Big Brother. #BBUK Housemates nominate in the Time Zone. The Housemates are gathered at the sofas for today’s nominations. Big Brother says, “... as you are in the House of Time, this week, things are going to be a little different. Nominations will be given in the Time Zone. You will draw number tokens to determine the order you enter the Time Zone.” Sam says, “Guys, this is important.” Omar says, “Basically the last person decides.” Sam says, “The order is really important.” The Housemates each draw a number from the bag in secret to determine the order they can enter the Time Zone. The first Housemate to enter must choose four name disks to place on the nomination podiums. The remaining Housemates will take it in turns to swap up to two names that are on the nomination podiums. They cannot swap themselves. [quotes may not be in order of nominations] Lynx says, “...I think you can only give someone so many chances, I’m happy to be cordial in the house and get on as you should and respect people… but that’s pretty much as far as it will go.” Rochelle says, “...I feel that he doesn’t always contribute as much as he could with the tasks…” Harry says, “...I do feel a little bit on eggshells with her. She’s made it a bit uncomfortable…” Yasmin says, “...[he] believes I bring nothing to the house…” Frankie says, “...she talks so much about people talking behind people's backs in here and she says she doesn’t like doing it and then stirred up a situation last night… so for someone to talk about they don’t like people talking behind people's backs, she’s doing a very good job of causing that in the house.” Twinks says, “...I hate how this has gone… she hasn’t made me feel very welcome and that doesn’t feel very nice. I’m not swapping anyone Big Brother. This is what I would’ve done but it’s not gonna stay this way is it. This is so frustrating.” The nominations twist is eye-opening for the Housemates and sends shock waves rippling through the House in its wake. Which Housemates will be up for eviction in this week’s live show?

👁️ Tonight on Big Brother. #BBUK Catrin voices her frustration as drama explodes 💥 Following Rob’s eviction, Catrin is upset and discusses the House dynamic with Lynx, saying, “I feel so frustrated. I feel like there is such a clique. I just hate it.” Lynx says, “You’ve got mates across the board.” Catrin says, “You’d think that but they’re still whispering everywhere. It’s horrible.” Later Omar asks how Catrin is feeling and she says, “It feels like I’m back in school again. I can’t do the whole, the bitchiness of it.” Omar asks, “Who’s being a bitch to you?” Catrin says, “No-one's been a bitch to me but people are being bitches about each other. People are being nasty about each other. I don’t like that.” Some of the other Housemates are in the kitchen as Yasmin asks, “Is she ok? She looked like she’d been crying.” Twinks says, “Yeah she is. She’s struggling with the dynamics of the House. Big time. It’s getting to her a lot. She’s a sensitive, stunning, little soul and the whole us and them, the whole hierarchy of this spot. Let’s not pretend this isn’t a thing.” Rhianna heads into the bedroom and relays this conversation to Philip and Rochelle leaving Philip less than impressed. Philip wastes no time and heads into the lounge and says, “Twinks. Who is the highest person in here?” Twinks says, “You are.” Philip says, “Who’s upset Cat then?” Twinks says, “Not me babe.” Philip says, “Keep your f***ing mouth shut.” Philip heads into the garden to speak to Catrin who soon retreats to the Diary Room to speak to Big Brother. The atmosphere remains tense - can the Housemates put their differences aside?

TWINKS has shot into second place in only her first week, while YASMIN has also climbed into the top 3! SAMUEL is bottom of the odds, for the first time, alongside Rhianna.

My copy of RTD's Memoir arrived today; The Queerest of Folk. A few quick observations that stood out to my on his chapter about Bad Wolf/Disney 'Doctor Who'. - When Disney agreed to co-produce the show, the execs had never watched 'Doctor Who' and didn't know anything about it. They didn't even know about 'Blink'. - RTD cites as one of the biggest reasons the era didn't work (or "destroyed the profile of the show", in his words) was because of the online leaks. Needless to say, I disagree. - RTD had already written Episode 1 of 'The War Between The Land and the Sea' before the reveal of 'Legend of the Sea Devils' (January 1st 2022). Completely unrelated creatively. - RTD admits it was "a confused launch" having the new era begin with a 60th Anniversary trilogy. "I think that fucked it from the start". - Ncuti Gatwa's casting announcement before the BAFTA TV Awards was done to pre-empt a potential leak (I called this at the time!). - '73 Yards' and 'Dot and Bubble' were relatively last minute writing jobs. Due to delays filming 'Sex Education', Ncuti started 3 months later than planned so these Doctor-lite scripts were written. They were not originally in the 8-episode pitch sold to Disney and there is no mention of what the original Episode 4 and Episode 5 were. - Reflecting on his 2 Series, in particular the story of Ruby Sunday, if he has regrets or notes he doesn't mention them. He considers the run to be "magnificent". - The show's budget was significantly lower than 'His Dark Materials'. The crew had to learn "how to downscale". - There's an odd moment where he mentions "fixing problems on the spot" and then immediately talks about casting Belinda and "parking" Ruby. Was Millie Gibson considered a problem to be fixed? This is never elaborated on. - 3 Episodes of Season 3 were fully written. 1) A Great Fire of London story by Laurence Clark and Jack Thorne. 2) A Brutal NASA Space Station Story by Lydia Adetunji. 3) A "lovely" episode set in a Manchester Council Estate by Sharma Angel-Walfall. RTD wanted Juno Dawson to write another episode and was in talks with Kate Herron and Briony Redman to bring Jonathan Groff back as Rogue. "That sequel was forever getting postponed". - Season 3 would have ended with a "Dalek four-part epic". - There's no mention of 'The Reality War' reshoots. "We knew Ncuti was leaving", he claims, like it was always the plan. - Regarding the 2026 Xmas Special Press Release; "I allowed my name to go on a press release that I actually felt kind of queasy about. That'll teach me!". - "I didn't even get a contract to write the Christmas Special until the end of March 2026" (it was announced in Oct 2025). - "I'll spend a year working on this, but it'll all be leaked before it gets on air...why bother?" - According to Russell, the timeline was; Announce Xmas Special, Put The Show Out To Tender, Then Make The Special To Bridge the Gap, Fulfill The Tender. There's a lot more in the chapter (which follows a previous 214 pages of information) but those are the things that stood out to me. RTD may have his own private opinions, but in this book, it seems he has no creative regrets.

#CelebrityTraitors reportedly had to halt filming after ‘several celebrities spoke up’ about James Acaster looking ‘visibly stressed’ during a segment of the show, so production halted to allow him time to calm down. The outcome of the game was not affected and this won’t air.
