the concept of est's character having no name because he was never meant to exist in the first place, merely a hallucination brought to life by the curse. when it's finally lifted, liam's character searches the world for him, desperately chasing the ghost of someone who was never there. he wants to call his name, beg him to come back, but all he has is 'human.' he remembers his eyes, his presence, everything except the one thing that could make him real. how cruel it is to lose someone you can't even name, someone you can't prove you ever loved. you can't set the world on fire for a ghost, no matter how much he once felt like home.
