When I first got involved, I knew Milani’s story. What I didn’t know was where that story would lead me. I started learning about giraffe populations around the world. I discovered the conservation work happening to protect them. I learned about World Giraffe Day and the Junior Giraffe Club. Along the way, I’ve connected with people who have dedicated their lives to giraffe conservation and awareness. Milani became a doorway into a world I knew almost nothing about before.
