Tamer Shadi Subh, a schoolboy, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation army on Sunday in the Tal Al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. Three years of genocide have left families without even a way to bring their dead to the hospital.
Gaza’s Ministry of Education mourned Tamer as the third schoolchild killed by the Israeli occupation in less than 24 hours, after Mohammed Riyad Abu Hammad and little Misk Hazem Al-Dalu, who was shot when Israeli forces opened fire on displaced families’ tents in Al-Maghazi camp. The ministry warned that the road to school in Gaza has become a road to death, and called on the UN and UNICEF to act to protect Gaza’s students. Five Palestinians were killed across Gaza on Sunday, two of them children, and the death toll since the ceasefire has now passed 1,511.
