You only find out which teams actually care about building IP after the hype dies. @Azuki is still shipping like clockwork when nobody on CT is screaming about PFPs anymore. I just checked their October rollout: - Manga Chapter 2 went live right on schedule (third Thursday of every month), drawn directly by co-founder and former Overwatch Character Art Director @steamboy33. Free to read on their site. - Four months after shipping their first 148-card physical TCG set (AZK-01: Gates Awakened) to local game stores, they just unveiled Set 2: Fractured Domains (AZK-02), dropping Nov 20 across NA, LATAM, and Europe. - 163 new cards, a new Color Variant rarity, and the game's first dual-element Leader ("The Sisters" Shao and Raizan) tied directly to the storyline unfolding in the manga. Building a physical card game, balancing tournament metas, and drawing monthly manga chapters is slow, unglamorous work compared to minting digital collectibles in 10 minutes. Hype cycles come and go. I respect teams that keep their heads down and build the actual IP.
