Just starting out in the world of building websites for clients? Getting a new site launched can be tricky, with a lot of easy to forget steps involved.
With Website Toolkit's template gallery you can re-use others (shared) templates, or take inspiration to customise your own.
Website Toolkit is being built with both you and your favourite AI agent in mind.
When a human provides feedback (via the widget) you can now copy out an AI agent brief for it to work from.
Handy for those testing an AI agent workflow while keeping a human in the loop.
The Feedback module has been road tested by my wife over the last couple of days.
The client site widget got glowing reviews and will be a time saver on our future site builds.
Last but not least - Partial self-management for monitored domains.
Request (or cancel) a Full scan, Quick check or DNS check.
You could have a weekly full, daily quick for key pages and DNS.
It's easy to duplicate a section, change its header and get distracted before updating its contents.
As well as checking for potentially repeating headings in a page, Website Toolkit will also attempt to monitor for duplicate content within the same page.
Website Toolkits monitored domains is great for freelancers / agencies who offer web hosting.
You can easily include an entry level report with your basic hosting plan. While additional checks and included "fix it time" add extra value to your premium plans.
Website Toolkit isn't a "build it and move on" project. It is having gradual improvements each week and is a key part of my product offering.
Recent suggestions to break out SEO / AI score to a new chart, and home page screen shots are now live.

An AI agent can build a five-page brochure site in an afternoon. It writes the pages, sorts the responsive breakpoints, wires up the contact form and deploys to staging.
Then it tells you it's finished and everything works, but is that always true?

It's #ToolkitTuesday (kinda).
As Website Toolkit is a whole lot more than "just another site audit tool" I've tweaked the home page to highlight this, while adding an easy way to view the 3 main demos.
Take a look and let me know what you think:

You no longer have to manually prune or add to the base checklist for every new site. Save any project as a template to keep your custom tasks and preferred order.
A small tweak that can save a lot of time over multiple site launches.

The Website Toolkit: Time Tracker browser extension has now gone for review.
This is the 3rd and final companion to the website toolkit service and joins Form Tester and Focus Mode (previously called Nag Me Not).
The latest beta has been rolled out to 15 sites as part of a wider test for the vulnerability monitor.
4 of the sites had 1+ medium issue, with 1 site having 13 issues.
With 6 new CVE's listed in the last few days it's time to sit back and see what happens next.
To style out writing from the wrong account, Website Toolkit is providing the backend services for @ToggleWP Cloud. A blog post on that will be coming soon.
Robyns nest was a local cafe that changed ownership + name a year ago.
The domain was left to expire and was taken over as casino redirect - not ideal for people looking to book a picnic for a party.
Using the "Words" tab I could easily see all mentions to remove the old links.
This is just one of the many ways my Website Toolkit can help those maintaining sites for others.
