my take is she wants abdul to run in 2028 which is why she transferred money to him and has been pushing hard for him
My 2028 hot take two weeks before midterms: AOC runs for Senate, becomes a campaign surrogate for Chris Van Hollen’s 2028 run.

ok but compared to a month ago it's the same
Over the last week or so, James Talarico's lead in the polls has fallen a bit from 3.5 points to 2.6. First real movement toward Ken Paxton in the polls since Talarico opened a solid lead around Labor Day.

is he getting fat again
JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are. In my view, I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize something that happened 7 months ago."

I feel with so few polls in some states there could be surprises
We are overdue for another CBS/YouGov Senate poll

the thing is Harris at least has young and somewhat progressives voters going for her right now, which biden never really did. idt it lasts but you do see it in polling
Harris is nothing like Biden in 2020. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Biden’s whole rationale was “he is the most electable and most likely to beat Trump.” The supposed strength of “Scranton Joe” in the swing states was believed even when he face planted in early primaries.

I feel like he wouldn't be saying this if the internal polling wasn't good
.@AbdulElSayed is sticking by his 7-point win prediction and tells his opponent Mike Rogers is "not a serious person, and they're not a serious campaign, and he's lazy, and he's entitled.” He did so after holding two rallies in one day — including drawing 700 in a heavily R area — and Rogers appeared to be keeping a lighter public schedule.

what’s changed from two weeks ago?
#AlaskaSenate Washington Sun: Senator Dan Sullivan’s (R-AK) campaign feels more confident about winning. A senior official with Dan Sullivan's campaign told Washington Sun that if the election were two weeks ago, they didn't think the incumbent Republican would have won. Now they're confident if the election were today, Sullivan would win. washingtonsun.com/campaigns/…

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed brought his campaign to Traverse City Saturday, joining Sen. Elizabeth Warren to address affordability concerns and hear directly from Northern Michigan voters ahead of the November election. "Northern Michigan, you guys hold so much of what makes Michigan special,” El-Sayed said. “We want folks to know that governing is a give and take, and it is a conversation we have about who we are and who we want to be."
