People will need years to recover from the cult programming they have received from Candace Owens and the like.
Years and years, if they recover at all.
And even if people do realize she’s wack there’s a good chance many of them will just slide into another conspiratorial obsession following some other manipulative liar while thinking, “I trust this one. This one is reliable.”
I know from working with former cult members that this sort of wide sweeping belief in tons and tons of distorted information and skillful, false story-telling does not fall off of a person quickly. Even when they finally realize their source for this info (which really becomes a worldview) was an evil manipulator they usually still hold onto many false beliefs and suspicions they got from that source. The damage is long lasting.
If you are coming out of the influence of Candace or others who you are starting to realize you can’t trust, be patient with yourself. Take the time to reflect on what beliefs and positions you are holding that should be questioned. For example, if you think I’m being paid by Israel to post this or under someone’s compulsion other than my own, it’s because you’ve been brainwashed.

In the past 100 days, this admin has shut down the failing department of education, sought to reset the broken global trading order, launched the boldest government efficiency effort since world war 2, declared war on the military deep state, made progress on global peach, and took bold move to reform our healthcare and food systems.
For my entire life, people complained about politicians not handling “big problems.” That has changed.

My trip to Israel opened my eyes. When I saw the Arab Muslim community living side by side with Jews, when I saw how Israel acknowledged Muslims holidays and I talked to these people I realized the core problem was never Israel it was those Islamists in Gaza who will do anything to prevent peace between Arabs & Jews. If Gazans treated Israel the way Israeli Arabs did, there would be no war & no suffering. You should visit and see for yourself.
