- obviously it would be great if it was cheaper!
- i continue to lobby for ai companies to make even higher plans. i get my money’s worth from the compute… so let me pay for more :)
- i essentially view it as an employee, and at $1k/mo it’s an absolute steal for an engineer
- 2x input tokens is NOT 2x the “usage limit”. it’s being able to send 100k tokens in a message instead of just ~50k. at 50k it’s just not enough to really take advantage of the model
- this is EXTREMELY useful for code, particularly for architectural decisions on big chunks of a codebase
TLDR I’m willing to pay more for more compute bc it’s easily worth the cost, and I want the labs to allow me to do this.
(easier version is just putting gpt-5 pro in the api!)

At the Qingdao Beer Festival in China, two performers literally lit up the stage by dancing on Tesla Coils while passing electricity between each other.
They wore special suits and spun metal rods, turning high-voltage current into a glowing light show.
