Awareness can start a conversation. But real change requires action.
This October, WDO will bring together stakeholders from across the OIC and beyond to discuss how we can advance women’s health through stronger access, better information, supportive systems and meaningful policy action.

More details to follow.

Awarness can start a conversation.
But what happens after the conversation?
This October, WDO is moving From Awareness to Action.
A conversation on women’s health, access, equity and the actions needed to create meaningful change.
Because awarness should lead somewhere.

Breast Cancer Is Not Only a Health Issue
THE ISSUE
Breast cancer can affect women’s families, livelihoods, emotional wellbeing and ability to participate fully in society.
WHY IT MATTERS
Women’s health is closely connected to women’s economic and social empowerment.
WHAT CAN CHANGE
Health policies should consider the wider realities women face — including employment, caregiving, financial security and social support.
WDO’S MESSAGE
Investing in women’s health is investing in women’s empowerment.
Early detection can save lives. But detection alone is not enough
Awareness must be matched by access. Every woman deserves a fair chance at early detection and quality care.

This October, WDO is moving from Awareness to Action— because every woman deserves not only to be heard, but to be supported, protected and empowered.
