I don't even know where to start, this last month has been so crazy.
I'm going to share a story about myself and how I started trading memecoins.
Before Trading Memecoins
I was just a normal guy 24 years old, struggling with depression and deeply addicted to video games.
I played video games every day for 10-12 hours, trying to suppress my depression by escaping into virtual worlds where I could zone out and avoid thinking about real life.
On February 8, I was scrolling through YouTube Shorts and came across memecoins. I saw how people were making millions trading them, so I joined a Discord and started chatting with the members.
At first, I didn’t even know how to buy Solana or where to trade. I was completely clueless.
On February 9, I made a decision:
I want to make money and actually secure my future. There’s nothing to gain from video games.
The first thing I did that morning was uninstall every single game on my PC and remove everything related to gaming. That shit had to go ASAP!
Then came the next challenge, getting started with trading. But where do I even begin?
For me, it started with analyzing charts. Why did some coins pump while others didn’t? It was a lot of information to take in, but I knew I had to stay consistent to make it.
For the first few days, I was lost. I watched streams, asked questions, and tried to understand the market.
Fast Forward a Few Days…
On February 11, I started trading. The first two days were up and down—I wasn’t making a profit, but I also wasn’t losing. That meant I was doing something right, but there were still things I needed to improve.
On February 12, it was the same as the 11th. Still not profitable, just watching my balance go up and down. What am I doing wrong? I had no clue. So I decided to take a break for the day and start fresh tomorrow.
On February 13, I woke up and started trading again, but my motivation was low. I wasn’t profitable, and I needed to be. I was pushing myself hard, but it just wasn’t working.
That same day (I think), Kanye started posting random shit, and something happened, I saw “Justice for Kanye” trending. I did some research and aped in with 0.1 SOL.
📈 Buy: $20.54 → Sold: $96.28
💰 PnL: +$75.74 (+368.73%)
That was the moment it all clicked. I finally understood how the market worked. We’re not just trading coins, we’re trading news, hype, memes, and whatever is happening in the world.
Since that day, it’s only been up, and I’m so grateful for this. I don’t even know who to thank.
26 Days Later…
These past 26 days have been the craziest of my life. I’ve built an amazing community and helped so many people who were in the same situation as me. That, to me, is success.
Helping others has been the most important thing so far.
Well, it’s day 26, and I’m at 66 SOL ≈ $8,400.
My goal was to hit $10K in 30 days, and I still think I can do it. I’ve got 4 days left.
