Last night I saw something I haven’t witnessed in a long time. Long time die hard Tulane fans leaving the game an entire quarter early due to disgust. Even the most optimistic of us all have now turned pessimist. The remainder of the season will now be “friends and family” Tulane as the casual fans are now gone. Even our fickle student body has now been reduced to a quarter of what was. This season is lost, but Tulane fans are forever a hopeful bunch, if you give them a reason. Let that reason be a change at the top. Athletic director and then coach would be my order of operation if it was up to me. Don’t allow this mismanagement of a championship program to continue. The fate of our future depends on your decision. Please don’t wallow in indecision. @TUFitts #Tulane

What a nightmare for Fox. It's 6:35 on Saturday evening and the World series pre-game (with lots of high priced advertising) was supposed to start 30 minutes ago. Instead Fox is stuck in a double overtime college football game between BYU and UCF that NOBODY cares about.

It’s not even worth getting mad at anymore. We all knew this was going to happen.

Going in to half with 2 timeouts and have to settle for a field goal because we ran out of time. You can’t make this up.

A bowl executive told @On3 the bowl would rather fold than abandon decades of tradition as a power conference game by becoming a G6 vs. G6 matchup in 2027. They may get their wish

37 year ago today, Houston crushed SMU 95–21 at the Astrodome. Heisman-winning quarterback Andre Ware threw for 517 yards and 6 touchdowns in the first half alone, leading the Cougars to an NCAA-record 1,021 total yards of offense.

It’s weird seeing this and having absolutely no concern on how this may affect Tulane.

Sources: Maryland coach Mike Locksley has been dismissed. Maryland dropped to 2-5 on Saturday after a last-second loss to Rutgers. Locksley is 39-54 overall at Maryland, including his interim stint in 2015. Maryland is on a bye this week.
