On September 22, Emporio Armani Ristorante Milan embarks on a new chapter in its history. The venue’s first floor will be permanently transformed into Indochine, the iconic New York dining institution and lifestyle destination, while Emporio Armani Caffè will continue to welcome guests on the ground floor, featuring its lounge, café and outdoor terrace, accessible from Via Croce Rossa, under a renewed identity: Armani/Caffè. Following the success of last February’s pop-up, Giorgio Armani and Indochine have made the partnership permanent. Guests will enter from Via dei Giardini beneath the new Indochine sign and step into a setting shaped by the elements that have defined its identity since 1984: towering banana leaves, abundant floral arrangements and a distinctly transportive atmosphere. At its centre is the French-Vietnamese cooking that built its reputation. For more than four decades, Indochine has drawn artists, designers, filmmakers and musicians, earning a place among Manhattan’s enduring dining institutions. It also held a special place in Giorgio Armani’s New York experience, becoming one of his favorite destinations during his stays in the city.
