Almost a year of building in my room. Meet Sudo.
A little desk robot that talks, plays chess, and gets way too excited when it beats me.

BetterShot v0.4.0 is out.
This one is a full rebuild.
The recording pipeline, the floating bar, and both editors were rewritten from scratch. The work that used to send you to After Effects now lives in the app.
What's new:
• Auto zoom. Your cursor position is tracked while you record. Clicks turn into zoom cues, and the camera moves the way a screencast editor would. Every cue is editable on the timeline.
• A cursor the editor draws. The pointer is no longer baked into the video. Its path, clicks and shapes are saved next to the recording, so you can restyle it afterwards. A spring smooths a shaky hand and lands clicks exactly on the spot.
• Face cam. A round camera bubble you can drag anywhere while recording, and drag again in the editor. Works with Continuity Camera too.
• Microphone support. Narration records as its own audio track, kept separate from system audio. There is a live level on the bar, and muting writes nothing at all instead of writing silence.
• A new editor. Six tabbed inspectors instead of one long sidebar. Multi clip timeline, per clip speed, transitions, split screen, 3D tilt, color grading, captions, keyboard overlays, and blur masks that are destroyed in the export rather than covered.
• Cloud sharing. Files compress locally before anything uploads, then publish straight to your own Cloudflare R2 bucket. No proxy, no third party service, keys in the Keychain. Your files stay yours.
Also: crash resilient recording, multi display capture, and single window recording.
Free, for macOS. Link in the comments:

Where is the real Tibo?
The Tibo OpenAI put on camera yesterday barely resembles the guy in his profile pic. I think sometime in 2024 Sam replaced him with THIBO-3000 and only rolls him out occasionally so nobody gets suspicious. I think they already achieved AGI, and this interview confirms it.

#1 Netflix has put out a detailed paper on how they are using LLM-as-judge in their recommender systems.
A neat research log of how they treat an LLM judge like a lifelong agent going through various phases over just one dedicated role for a turn/attribute.

Now building is a team sport.
Introducing Slack Code: a new way for your team and AI agents, like @AnthropicAI's Claude Code, Claude Tag, Devin from @cognition, @github Copilot, @ChatGPT, and @vercel agents, to write, review, and ship code together.
Just mention an agent to spin up a channel, pull in your team, and start building. All in the open. All in Slack.
TypeScript repo is now a Go repo.

I predict that Mark Zuckerberg and Alexander Wang will win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2026.
Mainly because they ran Llama into the ground and prevented AGI from taking over the planet.
