That's the Giants version of Mauricio Dubon that I remember
Mauricio Dubón drops a pop-up and the Dodgers tie it

Most of you “Former MLB” folk on here haven’t spent any time in the trenches with a kid who just got cut, down on his life, who cuts down and across every baseball and doesn’t hit anything except a ground ball to the pull side, softly. And damn does it show. You and A-Rod telling him to stay on top of it will get him cut again next year too. Nice work!!

Placido Polanco drives in Curtis Granderson and the Tigers now have a 3-0 lead!
Sean Casey gets a base hit to right field driving in the first run of the night and Detroit has an early 1-0 lead with 2 runners on still!

Milton Bradley was acquired for Andre Ethier. Bradley only played 1 full season with the A's, while Ethier played over a decade with the Dodgers. While Milton didn't have any anger problems in Oakland, it's pretty clear who won that trade.
Milton Bradley launches a deep shot to center field for a 2 run home run to give the A’s a 4-0 lead in the 3rd inning as they look to sweep the Twins today!

Marco Scutaro with a bases clearing double as the Twins were just one strike from getting out of the jam. Oakland now leads 8-2 and is 6 outs away from sweeping the Twins.

.@Kurkjian_ESPN couldn't believe the decision to go for third 😂 @PerezEd didn't like it either.
Drew Rasmussen's no-hitter is over but the Rays team up to get Austin Wells at third base 😮

This team deserves a deep dive. The only team to be 20 games under .500 and eventually become over .500 in the same season.
The Florida Marlins are parting ways with manager Joe Girardi after just one season. Girardi led the Marlins to a 78-84 record with a team full of rookies but has had recent disagreements with ownership which caused them to part ways.

The game is better than ever, right?
I don’t really know what to say about this except this is what happens when @MLB players are conditioned not to think for themselves. Austin Wells breaks up Drew Rasmussen’s NO HITTER in the 8th inning of a Playoff Game with 2 outs and apparently totally disregards the fact that he’s the tying run at second base and decides to go for 3 and gets thrown out by 15 feet. I really don’t know what else to say. 🤦🏼‍♂️ #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @MoVaughn_42 @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @mikepiazza31 @KevinKennedyMLB @SalMarinello @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan @TheKineticArm @WillClark22 @MLB

The fact that playoffs DONT start with a guy on 2nd in extra innings tells you how stupid it is they do it in regular season games. Please change it back

I got to meet him once. Great guy.
Liam Hendriks announced on his Instagram that he's retiring after 14 seasons in MLB

What a great postseason moment! Yet, hardly anyone saw it because it happened at 4:40 PM Eastern Time, when many adults are still and work and kids are in after school programs. In the Western half of the country, most people are STILL at work/school.

This is what they should have done in the first place instead of that weird shit they did with the left field wall.
The Orioles are removing approximately 2,000 seats from the upper deck in left field at Camden Yards and renovating the area, which will now include a standing room, gathering areas, a central bar and more, open to all ticketed fans. It will open at start of 2027 season.

If I wasn't checking twitter while at work, I would have no idea this game was even going on. See how stupid this is?
The first run of the 2026 Postseason belongs to Alec Bohm and the @Phillies 💪
