You’re not allowed to sing or show your face or have an opinion or be happy or be proud of anything. Your micro-bladed brows, makeup, and fake lashes are anathema. 74 lashes for you. Your social media and travel is now banned. Up to 15 years in prison and a hijab clinic. Pay two million rials. Now go read “Law on Protecting the Family through the Promotion of the Culture of Chastity and Hijab.” Oh yeah…you’re not allowed to read.

Believe with me November 8, 2026 Jesus didn’t say, “Repeat after me, and I’ll see you when you die.” He said, “Follow me.” The gospel is the announcement that Jesus Christ is Lord. The promised King came, died for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead, and reigns today. That news calls for a response. Repent. Turn from your sin. You’ve been running your own life. It’s not working out so well, is it? Believe. Put your trust in Jesus, in who he is and what he accomplished through his death and resurrection. Be baptized. Publicly identify with him. Become part of his people and learn to walk in his ways. Can that begin with a prayer? Absolutely. Call on him. Ask for mercy. But understand who you’re calling on. He’s the risen Lord, and his invitation is to follow him with your whole life. You don’t earn his grace by getting your act together. You come because you need his grace, and that grace begins changing you. Your money. Your mouth. Your relationships. How you treat people when you’re tired, angry, or convinced you’re right. He can help with all of that. And when you stumble, you return to the Savior whose mercy brought you here in the first place. The King who calls you to surrender is the King who gave himself to save you. He’s worthy of your trust. Follow him.

Pray with me November 7, 2026 Heavenly Father, Thank You for another morning. Before we focus on our phones or start carrying the weight of the day, help us remember that every breath is a gift from You. Your mercies are new this morning. We come to You through Jesus, grateful that we can bring You our whole lives, including the parts we’re still struggling to surrender. You know what’s waiting for us today. Give us wisdom for the decisions ahead and patience when things don’t go according to plan. Where we’ve been anxious, help us bring our concerns to You and trust Your care. Keep us from being so occupied with what comes next that we overlook the person in front of us. Help us listen carefully, speak graciously, and do the good we already know to do. Father, we place this day in Your hands. Make us faithful with the life You’ve given us beginning right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heavy week. But remember, as the weekend begins: Jesus is ON THE THRONE THIS VERY MOMENT! He is good. He will win. He offers community and love and a constant hope for salvation. Have a great weekend. Stay hopeful. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23

The reason for this loss is simple: Gen Z and Millennials voted overwhelmingly for Democrats. Meaning, the Left radicalized many of your children right under your noses for decades. That’s a tough truth to accept. Hence the attraction to bizarre explanations: The Groypers did it! The Tucker bros! Iran! No. It is the fault of at least two generations of parents who abandoned the home spiritually. Moms sought fulfillment in careers or online. Dads abdicated leaders and ignored the directive of Deuteronomy 6 to teach their children the ways of the Lord and opted to subcontract it to the state or private schools that, even if they didn’t radicalize them, produced spiritually vapid kids. In 1 Samuel we find the story of Eli who did this exact thing. His sons had become wicked. Guess who the Lord called on the carpet? The youth pastor? The public or private school teacher? G’ma? Mom? No. The Lord brought judgment upon Eli because he was charged with the spiritual and intellectual training of his children and he neglected it: “And I declare to him that I am about to judge his house forever for the iniquity that he knew, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them.” This is the hard truth of scripture that, so far, not one of those who would offer you his profound midterm analysis has said. It’s the biblical answer to what we are seeing happening in this country. All else is mere commentary. Until we as a people own it, repent of it, and begin to do the hard work of parenting (or grandparenting as the case may be), nothing will change. On the contrary, it will accelerate.
MIDTERMS & JUKE BOX HEROES🧵 1/3 There’s a wonderfully instructive scene in the 1983 film The Right Stuff, a movie which chronicles the early days of the space program: The men chosen to be America’s first astronauts are being wined and dined at a huge event in Houston at the newly opened Astrodome. Vice President LBJ sings their praises; beautiful women flirt with them; corporate America gives them Corvettes, luxury watches, and lucrative endorsements; and they are hailed as heroes. They bask in the glory knowing they’ve done nothing to deserve it. The scene switches to the California desert. Two men stand in a desolate landscape staring into a hangar. Test pilot Chuck Yeager and engineer Jack Ridley inspect the new Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, a plane created to push the very limits of space and overtake the Russians. “Shall we see what she can do?” asks Yeager. The scene switches back to Houston and the smug astronauts. Although the best pilot, Yeager isn’t among them because the powers that be didn’t think he fit the All-American profile they wanted: handsome, college educated, and a smooth political operator. The astronauts shake hands, wave to the crowd, and the lights of the Astrodome dim as they seat themselves to watch burlesque dancer Sally Rand ascend the stage and begin her ostrich feather fan dance for them. The scene switches again. Yeager taxis down the runway, pulling the canopy of the F-104 down as he goes. There are no crowds to praise him, no glory to be won beyond the self-satisfaction that he is fulfilling the mission to which he has been assigned: To put the United States ahead of the Russians. Back to the Astronauts. The sexy Sally Rand dances to Debussy’s Clair de Lune, each man feeling she’s dancing just for him. Yeager rockets for the very edge of space with the soft elegance of Clair de Lune now serving as the background music for the drama in Houston and the one shaping up in the California desert. This subtlety hints at Yeager’s work in obscurity because it fits the astronauts’ celebratory event, not his bat out of Hell mission. Something goes wrong. Yeager can see space; almost touch it. But the engines stall. The plane begins a death spiral. He fights for control as he plummets. The astronauts, 1,500 miles away, are blissfully unaware. Ridley sees an explosion on the desert horizon and a plume of black smoke. As he races to the crash site, the driver says: “Is that a man?” To which Ridley replies: “Yeah, you’re damn right it is!” Yeager is burned horribly, but he nonetheless stands, his parachute and the burning husk of the F-104 behind him. What novelist Tom Wolfe was doing — and the filmmakers after him — was juxtaposing the real work of beating the Russians vs the glamour sold to the public: One, but for rare moments, goes unsung and unnoticed. It involves great personal courage, nightmarish risks, and the condescension of those who have no idea what Yeager does. The other is the lights of Tinseltown, empty speeches, backslapping politicians, endless photo ops, and the reassurance that they really are heroes saving the world. This brilliant contrast mirrors something I’ve been mulling for a long time: real cultural engagement and impact vs illusory cultural engagement and impact. I’m referring to social media. I think many conservatives mistake their likes and retweets for actually moving the needle. Moving as I do in the world of conservative “influencers” — the very term is ironic given what I’m saying — I try to push them to get off their phones and engage the world. In part I do it for their own mental health. I can see how it hypes them or keeps them in a constant state of anxiety. I can also see them getting dopamine rushes when a tweet gets a lot of attention or they receive praise. I see their inability to read a real book from beginning to end — not just listen to one — or have a sustained conversation that doesn’t involve reaching for their phones multiple times….

Prediction for the next two years of American politics: Take it or leave it! Democrats will assume this landslide election was support for their most left-wing and radical policies, when in reality, it was just a reaction against poor Republican delivery on promises. Republicans showed up in midterm levels. Democrats showed up in presidential levels. First time voters likely voted Democrat. Because of Democrat’s incorrect assumption about approval for their policies, they will run really hard, really fast to the left and open a way for a very stalwart right wing populist figure to gain power in 2028. The left can’t resist making everything woke, DEI and effeminate: they can’t help but be horribly militant. The Democratic party as we know it, is finished. DSA is dominant. Americans are not largely in favor of socialism and radical leftism, so you will see an equal and opposite reaction, the next time the ballot box is open! Save this post and measure if this prediction holds weight in November 2028.

And just like that, the agenda is out in the open. Ready for it folks? Two years of investigations, Satan worship and sharing this country with emboldened LGBTQ mafia members who celebrate the assassinations of young American fathers. Our nation needs to repent.
NEW: A federal judge has ruled that Satanists can hold a controversial holiday celebration at Iowa’s State Capitol, overturning years of opposition from Republican leaders, the Daily Mail reports

Eternally the issue with vaguely informed voters. They fall for the marketing. They fall for the narrative of “we are here to help you.” Then, all of a sudden, boom: Gun registry.
🚨 BREAKING: Incoming House Judiciary Chair Jamie Raskin promised in an interview that UNIVERSAL GUN REGISTRATION would be one of the Democrats’ top priorities in the upcoming Congress. It’s barely been 36 hours. They aren’t waiting. They’re coming after your guns.

Pray with me (The Book of James) November 6, 2026 Father, You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, the One who never changes. Give us an undivided heart that trusts Your goodness in every season. When trials come, teach us to count them as joy because You are producing steadfastness in us. Let endurance finish its work. When we lack wisdom, help us ask You in faith. When temptation comes, keep us from blaming You. Expose the desires that draw us away, and strengthen us to obey. Make us quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Help us receive Your Word with humility and become doers of it. Keep us from hearing truth while refusing to let it change us. Deliver us from favoritism. Teach us to honor the poor, welcome the overlooked, care for orphans and widows, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Let our faith bear fruit through mercy, generosity, and obedience. May we never offer empty words where You have given us the means to help. Father, tame our tongues. Forgive us for blessing You while wounding people made in Your likeness. Put a guard over our mouths, and let our words bring truth, healing, and peace. Give us wisdom from above, pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruit. Uproot jealousy, selfish ambition, and the pride that turns our desires into quarrels. We submit ourselves to You. Help us resist the devil and draw near to You. Cleanse our hands, purify our hearts, and teach us to grieve our sin without running from Your grace. You give more grace. Humble us before You, and lift us up in Your time. Keep us from slandering others and speaking as though we sit in Your judgment seat. Remind us that our lives are a mist. Teach us to hold our plans with open hands and say sincerely, “If the Lord wills.” Give us courage to do the good we already know to do. Protect us from trusting wealth or gaining comfort at another person’s expense. Make us honest in our dealings, generous with our resources, and faithful to those who depend on us. As we wait for the coming of our Lord, establish our hearts. Keep us patient in suffering and free from grumbling against one another. Remind us of Your compassion and mercy when we cannot understand what You are doing. When we suffer, turn us toward prayer. When we rejoice, fill our mouths with praise. When we are sick, help us seek prayer from the elders and trust Your care. Give us humility to confess our sins and faithfulness to pray for one another. And when someone wanders from the truth, give us the love to pursue them and the gentleness to help bring them home. Father, let the faith we profess become visible in the lives we live. Make us steadfast, merciful, prayerful, and whole, through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty name, amen.
