Vibe code your TV into a bookshelf. Things are getting creative in the vibe hacking space. Picture frames, TVs, probably a bunch more I’ve not seen yet. Big space emerging.
Update - I have now vibecoded my TV to be a handsome, august library bookshelf! Each app is a book. Opening an app triggers a 3D animation of the book coming off the shelf and opening I live in a 1920s townhouse so it fits my vibe perfectly. Code is below!

It’s a little tough to read in this implementation but great to see regardless. This could be a huge win-amp skin comeback moment for the television.

This is intriguing. Vibe hacking your TV I’m into it. Tons of security concerns but cool nevertheless
I just vibe-coded my TV It showed an ad before I could even open Netflix. Gave Claude Code the model number. It found the TV on Wi-Fi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and built this launcher. Basically an Apple TV now.

My son said something was impossible tonight at bed. I reminded him about the car that can stick to walls and fly. The video we watched yesterday. He recalled and quickly shifted his mindset, his face lighting up. In every conversation I’ve had the common note is that there’s nothing practical about the @Tesla @SpaceX Roadster. Is it extreme? Yes. But if you can wield extreme capabilities it’ll be wildly beneficial overall for us. Not only that- it shows us all that IT IS POSSIBLE. Thats arguably more impactful than the tech. It’s only going to get better and @gt lays that out perfectly here. xitter.cf/gt/status/211154724993…
Of course the Roadster demo was a spectacle. He’s selling cars. He’s going to show the most outrageous things the tech can do. And it was pretty fucking impressive. Watching it hang upside down, defying gravity, was cool. Watching it fall from the sky and stick the landing was insane. The prototype isn’t practical in its current form -- don’t care. It’s not hard to imagine practical applications for this tech beyond jumping police barricades and retina detaching acceleration. That same tech can help a car stop on black ice, avoid a collision, or prevent a rollover. Practical stuff will inevitably make its way into regular production cars. F1 gave us safer tires, better transmissions, more efficient aerodynamics… all from engineers trying to make cars go faster around a track. The guy who invented the 3-point seatbelt previously worked on ejection seats. Useful applications aren’t always obvious until later, though I think many are obvious in this case. The next few demos will be more Evel Knievel than anything you’d actually want to do in a car. Cool. We’ll probably see some practical stuff in there too.

Love how every time I watch sports with my kids they’re inundated with gambling app commercials. Love it. Super great. Definitely good for society.

I have a box of old letters from when my great grandparents were writing back to family living in northern Spain. The story this revealed is incredible. Going to add more in soon. So much to discover. familymemoir.ai
