What a pathetic joke.
Laughable the RBA, which is one of the highest paying central banks in the world, is having a revolt over what is an over generous pay offer.
Zero evidence of any productivity gains at the RBA for years. Lucky to get 0%
RBA employees have rejected a proposed 9.5 per cent wage hike for the second time, putting pressure on the central bank to offer a more generous deal. ebx.sh/a8xEja

I am absolutely devastated about the attack on Helen Haines.
Australians can disagree but must never accept violence and threats.
The Prime Minister wants to lecture everyone about “turning down the temperature”. Well he can start by abolishing his dirt unit that was trying to undermine Helen.
I’ve heard you on the Lambie video. The cartoons have my name on it so it’s my responsibility and we will be taking that joke out given it’s a sensitive medical issue for her.

Good Morning from Germany, where the govt is hosting its first investment summit in Berlin, taking a page from France’s “Choose France” playbook. Since end-2019, real capital investment has FALLEN 6.9%, while govt consumption has RISEN 15.2%. GDP is up just 1.9% over the same period, through Q2 2026. More state consumption, less investment in future growth. Quite a backdrop for “Invest in Germany.”

Labor should grandfather existing trusts and apply the reforms only to new trusts. As lawyer Mark Fowler writes: "The reform’s administrative burden, transaction costs and tax implications mean that this is the only certain path to preserving existing philanthropy." ebx.sh/IuM1Dm
