Our next update will be online: 2020-04-09! Whats new? For example this greatcoat and combat tunic to Oberst Ulrich Dinkelaker. Dinkelaker was the commander for (mot) Art rgt 36 and received the coveted Knights Cross, 09-12-1943!!

The 4.7 cm Pak(t) (Sfl) auf Fgst.Pz.Kpfw.35 R 731(f), an attempt to make use of the large stock of captured Renault R 35 tanks, was approved #OTD in 1941. The majority were lost due to mechanical failure, never seeing battle. tankarchives.ca/2016/10/rena… #tanks #history #ww2

SS-Obergruppenführer Karl Wolff in northern Italy, late 1944. Very lucky not to have ended up dangling from a rope in my view. Served just a few years in prison, dying at the age of 84 in 1984. Unbelievably, he worked as an advertising executive after the war. #WW2 – at Bath, England

A German Tiger II from Kampfgruppe Peiper, schwere Panzerabteilung 501 near Trois-Ponts, Belgium. The tank was shipped to the USA, where the left side was cut open for educational purposes (unfortunately!) #WW2

At Elsenborn Ridge, the 12th SS Panzer and 12th Volksgrenadier Division attacked once again. US artillery answered and fired more than 10,000 shells against the German forces who were advancing in the open fields at Bütgenbach. All attacks were repelled with heavy losses. #WWII

Many traffic jams caused hours of delay since the start of the German offensive. On top of that, the reserve 2nd and 9th SS Panzer Division joined the fight, however, they immediately found themselves in serious trouble on the bad and clogged up roads leading to the front. #WW2
