Gil Scott-Heron was so ahead of the curve as an artist that we're only just getting to grips with his legacy. He was rooted in his reality and wasn't afraid to call out injustice and inequality. We need him now more than ever. Happy birthday and respect to Gil Scott-Heron. 🌿
