I think what disgusts me most about this sort of thing is the affect of an actual painting. All those “brushstrokes” suggest effort, prolonged hours of concentration, a skill set. But there’s none of that here. Pure poseur bullshit

Back with some more Rogue One concept sketches exploring the search for Saw Gerrera’s hideout. In this case, a jungle planet heart of darkness type journey. The last shot of K2SO being swallowed by the vines is an obvious homage to Akira.
