Well obviously he’s going to the stupid party too. To make sure that Ed doesn’t get up to anything that he shouldn’t. But he won’t / enjoy / it. “Whatever. Where is it at?”

Now that makes him roll his eyes. Really? Better than the Dark Lord? Yeah . . . What has gotten into him??? Where has all this come from? “I wasn’t giving you a lecture. It’s a grown up conversation, Ed.”

“I’m not interrogating you, I’m asking you a question. It’s not an interrogation.” Maybe it is. “I just don’t know why you’d want to go hang out with a bunch of mortals.”

...... “In town? With mortals? And how did you even hear about this party?” He questioned. Arms folded across his chest in an unimpressed manner.

He.... Could imagine. And none of it would be likely to surprise Nick, to be completely honest. “A party? Where?” He hadn’t heard of any parties happening at the Academy.

“Goth boyfriend?” Okaaaaaaaaaaay— was he going through a phase right now or? First with the suits and bow ties and now.... goth? Interesting. “Where did you even get these clothes?”

“I didn’t say that I didn’t.” It’s true. Those words never left Nick’s mouth. He was just a little shocked, that’s all. It’s quite..... bold. “It’s just different.”

*warlock boyfriend
