My dear fellow citizens of Arunachal Pradesh! As our nation moves towards the centenary of Independence, our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji has called upon all of us to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, of an India that is developed, prosperous, self-reliant, technologically advanced, socially just and environmentally responsible. Our beloved State of Arunachal Pradesh, the land of the rising sun, carries a proud and significant responsibility in this journey. As a frontier State of strategic importance, a custodian of some of the richest biodiversity on earth, an emerging green energy hub, and home to diverse indigenous communities, we are uniquely positioned to build a Viksit Arunachal and contribute meaningfully to Viksit Bharat. Over the past decade, we, as Team Arunachal, have made remarkable progress. Our economy has grown many fold, per capita income has doubled, connectivity has significantly improved, and our schools, healthcare systems and enterprises are steadily strengthening. These gains belong to all of us, to our farmers, women, students and youth, teachers, health workers, entrepreneurs, elders, Community Based Organisations, civil servants and our institutions. All our initiatives, policies and programmes have been designed, implemented and strengthened through your valuable suggestions and feedback. We remain committed to ensuring that the voice of every citizen, village and tribe forms an integral part of our collective model of governance, and that inclusive, holistic and sustainable development is realised through our shared resolve and commitment. It is in this spirit of Jan Bhagidari that we are now developing a comprehensive roadmap towards Viksit Arunachal @ 2047. We aspire to be a State where geography no longer determines opportunity, where every child is well educated, every citizen is healthy, every young person has skills, and every skill translates into opportunity and economic empowerment. We aspire to be a State where our natural wealth and indigenous heritage are cherished and protected for future generations, where development harmonizes with conservation, and where transparent, citizen-centric governance reaches the doorstep of every person. A vision of this magnitude must be written by the aspirations, ideas and efforts of every citizen across every village, town and home of Arunachal Pradesh. I therefore invite all our citizens, CBOs and NGOs of Arunachal Pradesh to share their valuable ideas and suggestions for building a Viksit Arunachal @ 2047. Your ideas and suggestions may be shared through the dedicated Viksit Arunachal @ 2047 portal (viksitarunachal2047.in) by 31st October 2026. I assure you that each and every idea and suggestion will be examined and deliberated on as we finalise our vision document for Viksit Arunachal @ 2047. Let us all come together to write our vision document for Viksit Arunachal @ 2047. Let us build a Viksit Arunachal for our future generations that is prosperous and carries within it the spirit of Arunachal Pradesh, rooted in our identity, developing sustainably with our mountains and rivers, and confident of our place in a Viksit Bharat.
