A future star of mens tennis is born. Jordan lee (usa) only turned 16 in May and has won the wimbledon boys singles. I first watched him 2 years ago in the 14 and under. Hes got everything - serve, movement, clean and consistent hitting. Will win the mens title by 2030.

These ideas improve the tanking problem but dont solve it. It will just lead to teams trying to lose in the first half of the season. You either solve the biggest problem in the sport or you dont. There are better fixes.

Record Friday hours on @BBCSounds yesterday as tens of thousands extra listeners came in for Ashes day one. Gutted we arent even going to see a day 3!

Good luck to @NeilGibson22 and the @altrinchamfc players today. Special praise to Alty fans who will be there cheering. We need to be realistic after just 2 days on training ground and an emotional week. Often a fresh voice, new energy and simple messages can move the dial.

Gutted. Taught him all he knows and hes shafted me for 3 pts @RobbieSavage8 F green unplayable for 25 min spell in first half. But alty on top at one all with 30 mins to go until red card kills us. 3 way title race - fg, roch and york. Alty too good to not be safe mid table.

Im biased cos hes my pal, even when he managed mac !, @RobbieSavage8 has completed his first 50 games as a manager. Won 41, drawn 6, lost 3. Win percentage record of 82%. He creates an energy and relentless to win that is very impressive.

Surely burnley at home is a last chance saloon he's lucky to get. Lose that before international break or disappointing draw and that surely is it. Was almost impossible to hit a new low after 15th and europa cup final but theyve managed it.

Such a disappointing over reaction from Hartlepool FC over a fair interview with an independent football finance expert. Fans lose out. Bbc tees best in class local football club coverage too for a side in the 5th tier..

Fantastic. And we are going to have this for as many clubs as we can in efl and national prem

Scandi takeover - norway then finland. Uk might not trouble left hand side of the board.

Good luck to the best of the best today @HuntyCaller at Aintree. What a guy. Inspiration. Bring it home john, especially if you are calling in Nick Rockett.

Alty losing, utd losing, rochdale winning. Marvellous tuesday fun.

Not sure how knicks lost that after being better team for most of game, but Thunder are the real deal. 14 on the bounce.

Great effort from my 2 sons - 2 trains and a tube across london to be in that 120. 200 mile away trip defeats are an essential part of lifes journey.

Great to win the cheshire derby in toughest weather conditions. Full respect to my pal robbie for his tactical response at 10 v 11. Incredible spirit in his team and both full backs immense for him. Got to keep 11 on the pitch though and that cost them. In the hat.

39 years ago today. My favourite ever Alty fc childhood memory. 2-1 at Blackpool with last min winner. Hoping to mark the occasion with a derby day win today.

First day of football season. Special day and family time @altrinchamfc - predicting a title race between Barnet, southend and forest green. And promotion for Alty via a 6th place play off finish.

Who else but the brilliant @jsoverend to call the first team gb medal on @bbc5live and @BBCSounds. Thats 30 years of broadcasting quality rising to the occasion again. Different gravy.

Thinking about Carol, Hannah and Louise today, as i will do for many days to come. Rest in peace. Giving my strength, thoughts and prayers to my dear colleague John. Numbness already turning to anger. You won't walk this alone. All of you are in our hearts and minds.

Biggest ever Friday on @BBCSounds for signed in accounts due to a lively mix of election night, then into coverage of departing and arriving PMs, 2 Euro matches and Wimbledon.
