I continue to work with @EPIConservation @GoSimpleLab and @internetofh2o on a national set of drinking water service area boundaries. Check out our latest post on the value of the data and the policies and funding states can use to create this data. policyinnovation.org/blog/se…
States are already using service area boundaries to:
Project populations for future water supply and demand;
Estimate domestic well use in areas not served by community water systems;
Assess climate change impacts, including wildfires, on water supply;
Working with @EPIConservation, @internetofh2o, and @GoSimpleLab to produce a national map of drinking water service areas! Filling this large data gap will help address environmental justice and affordability in the US water sector policyinnovation.org/blog/wh…

Ms. Elsie was one of he first people to teach me about Environmental Justice at UNC. She has spent years fighting for the health of her community. Please consider even a small donation to her gofundme to make this time a bit easier for her and her family.
Replying to @NCEJN
We want to shower her and her family in love and support through every step of this journey.
To support Ms. Elsie and her family, we are raising money to support the costs of any medical bills, gas, food, and other expenses that may arise.
