On David Bailey wearing a polo under his jersey: Apparently Harrison Phillips started this with the DL on Fridays (they all wear polos under their jersey on Fridays now) to represent that it’s a “work day”.

God, I hope he’s the guy
David Bailey deleted his social media apps after Week 1 in the NFL: "I felt like I was spending too much time. Time I could've spent on other things...putting more time into my body, studying the playbook. Other productive things I could've been doing."

Have any of you read the stories about his dad? He wasn’t a good guy.
The Marvin Harrison Jr. Theory The Marvin Harrison Jr. situation is one of the weirdest things I’ve seen in the NFL in quite some time, and I think it really boils down to two possible explanations. Theory No. 1: He’s arguably one of the biggest Top 5 draft busts in recent memory. MHJ was marketed to us as a can’t-miss prospect. An alpha WR1 who was supposed to be the cornerstone of the Arizona Cardinals franchise for the next decade. And the crazy thing is, the college tape backed it up. He was incredible at Ohio State. Then the draft process came around, and he participated in virtually none of it. He gets to Arizona, and he’s been disappointing almost from the moment he walked through the door. He’s that rare player where both the eye test AND the advanced metrics seem to tell the same story. Not only has he failed to develop into the player we were promised, but he’s seemingly regressed just three years into his NFL career, to the point where you can make the argument that he’s been one of the worst starting wide receivers in football. Even his best game as a professional, against the Rams during his rookie season, came on just four catches. He nearly got chased down at the one-yard line on a long touchdown, but at that moment, it genuinely felt like he had arrived. Since then? It’s been an utter disaster. Theory No. 2: He James Harden’d the Arizona Cardinals. And this is where things get interesting. What if Marvin Harrison Jr. decided very early in his career that he simply didn’t want to be part of turning around the Arizona Cardinals? What if he made the conscious decision to mail it in, knowing that eventually the organization would have no choice but to move him? If that’s the case, I genuinely question his ability to succeed at the highest level. I want my WR1 to be an absolute alpha. Someone who demands greatness, regardless of the circumstances around him. Someone who believes that no matter how bad his team is, he’s going to be a factor every single Sunday. And that’s not some unrealistic expectation. We’ve watched dominant wide receivers produce on terrible football teams for decades. So is that what explains the unwillingness to run block? The routes that don’t appear to be run at full speed? The lack of urgency? The constant media-trained answers rather than any real display of the competitive fire you’d expect from someone selected fourth overall? Because here’s what I can’t wrap my head around. How does a player who looked THAT good in college, with THAT pedigree, suddenly look so ordinary in the NFL? Was everyone just completely wrong about Marvin Harrison Jr. as a prospect? Or did Marvin Harrison Jr. decide the Arizona Cardinals weren’t worth his best effort? And now comes the fascinating part of this entire situation. Marvin Harrison Jr. has been traded to the Houston Texans, where he’ll reunite with his college quarterback, C.J. Stroud. He’s getting a fresh start, a new organization, and a quarterback he already has a history of producing with at the highest level in college. So now we get to see which of these two theories actually holds weight. Was Marvin Harrison Jr. simply one of the most overrated prospects we’ve seen in recent memory, or was he a player who decided early on that he wanted nothing to do with the Arizona Cardinals? Because if he suddenly looks like the player we all watched at Ohio State, it’s going to raise some serious questions about what exactly was happening in Arizona. And if he continues to struggle, maybe the answer was right in front of us the entire time. Either way, Houston is about to give us the clearest look yet at what Marvin Harrison Jr. actually is as an NFL wide receiver.

The ACTUAL GOAT
Gary Myers reveals that Bill Parcells has secretly paid over $4,000,000 to 20 of his former players who were struggling financially because he believed they sacrificed to make him financially secure and there is no better way to spend the money “Over the years, Parcells had loaned out a total of four million dollars to 20 of his former players who have come to him, I won't say destitute, but certainly having financial hardship.” “And Bill sat down and wrote checks for about four million dollars, which to me is completely unprecedented in sports. I've never heard of anything like that. And I said, 'Bill, why would you do something like that? Why do you feel obligated?' And he explained to me that he set aside all the money he needs for, hopefully, another 30 years of his life.” “He just turned 82. And he's given money to his three daughters and to his grandchildren, and then he has a certain amount of money left. And he says, 'What better way is there to do it than if some of my players who gave so much to me and helped make me a Hall of Fame coach and make me financially secure?” “It was because of their hard work and me driving them to be the best they can be. They gave so much to me. Now that I'm in a position to help, and unfortunately they're in a position where they need help, why shouldn't I be the one to help?'” “And, you know, people who remember Parcells, there's this hard-driving coach who had a love-hate relationship with his players. And now to see the transformation where he has become the patriarch of that team.”

Mike McDaniel could be fired as the Chargers’ offensive coordinator soon, if they’re unable to make significant improvements, per @espn. If Los Angeles cans McDaniel, Adam Gase would step in as the interim offensive coordinator.

This is for all the experienced web designers out there. Have you ever used #webflow? AI is telling me it’s the best solution for an experienced designer like me that doesn’t want to use Figma and doesn’t want a code. I feel like WordPress. I’m too reliant on developers. Thoughts?
