I had a language idea I never found time to build, and with Claude and Codex I finally did: Fango is a pure functional language with algebraic effects that compiles to Go. It's an experiment with no promises, just curious how far it goes.

I've just came across with "Fuzzing Channel-Based Concurrency Runtimes using Types and Effects" by Quentin Stiévenart and Magnus Madsen, OOPSLA20. And you know what? @CrystalLanguage is used as a case study. 😍
0.35 is huuuuge! But what’s coming next is even bigger. I can’t believe I can see 1.0 approaching in the horizon. Actually I can, because we have an awesome community to make it happen.
📢 Crystal 0.35.0 released! 📢

Leading bioinformatician picks Crystal as the most promising new language in bioinformatics: lh3.github.io/2020/05/17/fas… @CrystalLanguage
Seems like I need to upgrade to macOS 10.15.2, so I can install Xcode 11.4.1, so I can upgrade to iOS 13.4.1, so I can test a Flutter app on my iPhone

I find the usage of 👎 in GitHub very impolite. Anyone can have different opinions, but please give a reasonable and constructive explanation on why you dislike an idea.
Just in case someone is thinking about a gift for my next birthday...
Don't worry, I'll pay the renewals.
I use autoformatters for many languages now (JS, Go, Elixir, Elm, etc). None of them compares to the @CrystalLanguage formatter. It's the only one doing always the right thing: respect the developer. Good job @asterite!

I love it when, working on software design, suddenly you keep adding features and the design seems to evolve by itself
Wow! what a great night. Thank you @smpalladino!
I wonder how many million lines of code are in this picture.
