Hot take: Neurodivergent people can understand social cues just fine. What throws us off is often the INAUTHENTICITY behind them. So much of society revolves around fake smiles, meaningless small talk, and pretending everything is fine when it clearly isn’t. Like, babe, I can see that you’re hurting.
