My intention is to integrate radio with my adventurous hobbies. I envision SOTA, POTA, and maybe IOTA along side of kayaking, motorcycling, camping, bike-packing, hiking, rucking, and trail running. I may even do a little writing or sketching along the way.

I've been listening to to shortwave radio and the local GMRS repeaters for about a year. I finally got into amateur radio after an injury and subsequent surgery kept me immobile long enough to study and take the exams.
