To all Carol's friends on Twitter, Carol passed away at 5:30am today after her twelve month battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol will be missed by all her family and friends.
Today's therapy pet. Ch Burnthwaites Delores (Lola) such a good girl for her first time in the hospice.
Yesterday's therapy pet not so easy to see as she would head straight for under the reclining chair. But happily giving me purrs in the box was my beloved Imp Gr Ch, Imp Gr Pr and Imp Gr MC Weikuo Black Rani - my soul cat.
Another dog to give me therapy today. Nessa not used to these settings, but was as good as gold and just gave me her love. The joy of a hospice is that they are allowed in to see you.
My own therapy dog came to give me a visit at the hospice today. Such a long time since she has been into this type of setting but she was really good. So happy to see all staff.

The death penalty is fundamentally a poor person’s issue. Over nearly 40 years of visiting death row facilities across the United States, I have never met a single person with money or resources. Capital punishment means “those without the capital get the punishment.”
