Top 3 Chicago rap album from a rapper/producer, ever— and it might not even be 2 or 3, depending on who you talk to.

every day after school— my grandma would either take me back home to Hyde Park or to her house in Chatham, but on the way always would play tapes of @WBEZ Jazz broadcasts she made, which probably inspired my musical timing and awareness of polyrhythmic music. as much as A Ü T O/M Ö T O R is dedicated to my mother, it is equally dedicated to my grandmother— who escaped Alabama just as my great-grandfather was going to be kidnapped by men that wear sheets (we’ll talk about that situation in time). Love you grandma, without you my resilience would be a fraction of what it is today. A Ü T O/M Ö T O R comes out THIS Friday— 9.22.2023. vylevylevyle.com

I am so thankful for all of the A/M creative agency team members, collaborators and family, past and present— for helping me find a way to bring this vision of the world’s first VR music album to fruition… vylevylevyle.com #VirtualReality #creativecoding #threejs
