Alert CISF personnel at Jama Masjid Metro Station of DMRC sprang into action when a passenger attempted to flee after a suspicious, dense object appeared on the XBIS screen during baggage screening.
Demonstrating quick reflexes and effective coordination, CISF personnel immediately pursued and apprehended the fleeing passenger near the exit gate.
Further examination of his belongings revealed an unidentified semi-solid substance concealed in a stitched portion of his undergarment. The passenger, who claimed to be an NRI residing in Kuala Lumpur, along with his belongings, was handed over to the police for further investigation.
The swift action and alertness of CISF personnel highlight their prompt response and commitment to ensuring metro security.

A 5-year-old girl plunged 49 feet from a moving cruise ship into the open ocean. Her father heard his wife screaming and raced toward the railing, only to discover that their daughter was gone.
It happened aboard the Disney Dream near the Bahamas, where a family vacation took a terrifying turn when the little girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck.
When her father realized what had happened, he jumped overboard after her, plunging nearly 50 feet into the ocean. But when he surfaced, he couldn’t see his daughter anywhere.
He began desperately calling out for her, searching the water until he finally heard her calling back. He swam toward her and managed to reach her, but they were still stranded in the open ocean as the massive cruise ship began turning around.
For roughly 20 minutes, he kept his little girl afloat, holding her above the water until a rescue boat finally reached them and brought them back to safety.
Both survived, although the father suffered two fractures in his spine from the fall.
It takes an incredible amount of courage to jump nearly 50 feet into the open ocean, not knowing what awaits you below. But this father didn’t hesitate to put his own life on the line for his little girl. Thank God they both made it home.

Tigers do kill leopards. It's intraguild predation, removing a rival, not hunting for food. A tiger can outweigh a leopard four to one, and that weight works against it on a trunk. Leopards climb with hooked claws, shoulder muscle and a long tail for balance. They drag kills up there. Adult tigers mostly stop at the base.

Shri @yadavakhilesh ji, the UPA received support from your party starting from 2004. The UPA left banks in a pathetic condition. It is strange that you are talking about banks now and didn’t question your allies, then!
Your allies now in the INDI Alliance ruined public sector banks through 'phone banking' and 'crony capitalism.' During the tenure of the UPA government—backed by your party—IDBI Bank itself extended loans to individuals from whom recovering both the principal and the interest is the effort we are undertaking.
It is our NDA government under PM @narendramodi that revitalized the entire banking system, including IDBI Bank, through transparent policies and the infusion of capital.
Now that the banks are in a strong position, you are feigning sympathy?

Hon Mam @nsitharaman🙏 reference to your invitation for views on the removal of LTCG tax, as a common man I understand that outflows are severe. Since main drivers are global, not the tax, along with rising crude prices, a stronger US dollar, an elevated American bond yield, I would suggest it can be done thru a phased removal. Exempt LTCG on listed equity held for more than three years, and retain 12.5% for holdings of one to three years. This rewards patient, long-term capital while limiting the revenue impact. We need money to build a stronger and sustainable India, a vision envisaged by the Hon PM @narendramodi🙏.We do not grow at anyone's cost. We grow with the world and for the world. @PiyushGoyal @AshwiniVaishnaw @moneycontrolcom @IncomeTaxIndia

A laborer working at a construction site near a hospital in Pune arrived at the facility with his pregnant wife during an emergency. Dr. Ganesh Khairi examined the woman and stated, "I must perform an immediate Caesarean section to save both the mother and the child." For a moment, the laborer worried about the heavy expense, but having no other option, he consented to the operation.
The operation was successful, and a beautiful baby girl was born during auspicious Navratri Festival. The laborer's biggest concern was how to pay the bill. When he met Dr. Ganesh and asked about the cost, the doctor smiled and said, "I do not charge a fee for the birth of a daughter." The laborer was astonished to hear this.
The doctor explained, "Every daughter is an embodiment of Goddess Lakshmi; how could I accept money when an incarnation of Lakshmi arrives? When I was studying, my mother told me that whenever God sends a daughter into this world, I should help her and her family in every way possible. Honoring my mother's wish, I do not charge any money for the birth of a daughter."
The laborer immediately fell at Dr. Ganesh's feet and said, "You are truly a form of God." It has been a decade since Dr. Ganesh started his hospital. In these ten years, around 1,000 baby girls have been born there, and not a single penny has been charged to their parents as hospital fees.
Dr. Ganesh is truly an embodiment of Lord Ganesha.
Salutes and I bow to this doctor who is carrying forward the wish of his mother. 🙏

London, September 1930.
A 24 year old from Udaipur, Daulat Singh Kothari, arrives in England with one dream, to work under Rutherford at the Cavendish. At India House, the British officer in charge of admissions tells him the Cavendish is "totally out of question". He can try Oxford.
He was not a rich man's son. His father, a headmaster, had died in the plague of 1918.
The Mewar State staked on him anyway, an interest-free loan of Rs 3,500 for England. He would repay every rupee, at Rs 60 a month, after his return.
The next Sunday, Kothari goes to Cambridge with a friend, just to look at the building.
The Cavendish is open. A lady at the entrance hears the name Rutherford and takes them straight to the library, where Rutherford himself sits, reading a journal.
"Sir! My teacher Professor M.N. Saha had written to you about me. My name is Daulat Singh Kothari."
Rutherford looks up: "Oh, Mr Kothari, I am reading your paper right now. It is very interesting. Have you finished all admission formalities? If not, please complete them soon. My secretary will help you."
And so the boy who was told the Cavendish was out of the question was admitted to the Cavendish.
The President of Clare College, in his report to the High Commissioner for India, wrote that his examiners - Rutherford and Lennard-Jones, "spoke very warmly indeed of the excellent quality and character of his thesis."
His big idea there, pressure ionization, said matter squeezed hard enough ionizes even at absolute zero.
Eddington later wrote: "I think the first man to state this explicitly was D.S. Kothari."
Then the payoff....
In 1948, the man the India House office had turned away became Scientific Adviser to the Defence Minister of a free India and stayed 13 years.
He built the Defence Science Organisation, 40 senior scientists in a hutment, into the science base that is today's DRDO.
In 1961 he became UGC chairman. His Education Commission's 1966 report opened with the line every Indian student now inherits: "The destiny of India is now being shaped in her classrooms."
One more thing. The same office gave the same answer to S. Chandrasekhar. The two rejected students met at Cambridge and stayed friends for life.
P.S. "Pressure ionization" - squeeze matter hard enough and its atoms ionize even without heat. One consequence Kothari worked out: no cold body can be larger than about Jupiter. Beyond that, adding mass only shrinks it.
