Hailing from the Bay area of California, he had early dreams to make it to the NBA, but became an R&B star and signed a major record deal at a young age. He's been nominated for multiple awards and toured sold out shows across the country.

Wil’s past projects include “WHY I HATE THE SUN” is an R&B/melodic body of work that symbolizes love. While the flip side of this is the high energy/emphatic project “WHY I LOVE THE MOON” which featured his lead single "Pressure" which is the metaphor for survival.
