In your career, the most valuable currency is not how much you know. It's how well you learn.
In a stable world, success depended on building expertise. In a changing world, it hinges on evolving expertise.
Potential is no longer defined by ability. It's a function of agility.

Every company needs 2-3 senior+ engineers who have fuck you money or just have 0 fear of getting fired.
Then when the architect or tech fellow or whoever unveil their new plan, those engineers unmute to say wtf is this, we're not moving everything into Lambda, are you high???

So I was thinking where to keep a decision log. And why not, pushing decisions to #GrafanaLoki by @grafana. I have everything I wanted in one go. Convince me I am overnengineering this 😇
Running Loki on #GrafanaCloud free plan. I've got a tiny container running #GrafanaAgent on my machine. Adding logs by simply appending lines to a text file.
Agent collects new lines and pushes to Loki.
Pure magic.

An easy way to pick the wrong career is to put your image above your interests and identity.
A motivating job isn't the one that makes you look important. It's the one that makes you feel alive.
Meaningful work isn't about impressing others. It's about expressing your values.
