LONG pairs must decouple from each other, it's one of these things we were wired to believe in crypto where one alt that has nothing to do with another are heavily correlated (in many cases it's related to market structure but also purly self fulfing reflexive pattern) This is how we achieve our mission(and the way stocks work in the real world) If holders in different pairs won't believe there are no ceilings. There will be ceilings and we simply create a slower&longer rotation game between pairs to the “major runner” I don't want top holders to hold an asset because it's a good beta for another one.
