Let's hear it for @FroggysSaloon! Just picked up a $1,500 check for the @vsy_foundation - all from cash customers threw in or stuck on the ceiling. Froggy's also gave about $500 in toys to add to our gift runs. THANK YOU Froggy's & every customer who pitched in! @VolusiaSheriff

Out of a potential tragedy, we met some incredible new friends & partners. Irondog K9 International is an amazing org that didn't just pay Ax & Endo's vet bills - they're giving all our K-9 deputies invaluable training on how to save these dogs' lives, and the equipment to do it.

UPDATE: The deputy is conscious and talking, and while he has significant injuries, he is receiving great care on the road to recovery. FHP is handling the crash investigation. Thanks for your prayers and support!

Those dogs took bullets for their handlers and still had to be pulled out of the fight! Special animals who are truly part of our family. Thank God they're OK & our deputies went home safe this morning.

Sadness, grief & anger all over again. A young man w/ his whole life ahead of him is at rest tonight. Jason Raynor will never be forgotten. As @ChiefJakari said, he is guarding the gates of Heaven. May God watch over his family & every LEO answering the call. That's all I can ask
With his family’s blessing, we regret to inform you that Jason Raynor - the Daytona Beach Police Department officer who was shot nearly two months ago - has succumbed to his injury.
