Snapshot of the work done at NEIU home of the VS Panthers today getting ready for action next week. New infield surface with edging, new mound, new bullpens, new hitting area, looking and feeling proper. We will break it in next week and see how the ground balls play. Can’t wait!
Getting up early on a Saturday morning to train in the heat says a lot about an aspiring baseball player. Some future Panthers in this group getting a feel for the home field. Thank you to our varsity players and coaches that did a great job to make sure our camp was success.

The Panthers win game 2 with great pitching and defense, and clutch hitting to pull away at the end. SP Caleb Johnston was outstanding: 5 inn, 10 K’s, 2 BB, 6 H, 2 ER. Christian Welk entered the game with the score 5-2 and slammed the door for the final 6 outs. At Taft tomorrow.
