the lobster swarm is forming
as a free mint, lobster 3301 quickly became a target for what appeared to be coordinated sybil activity, likely involving multiple parties.
it forced me to strengthen the mint while it was live by tightening protections, studying attack patterns, and repeatedly adapting all while making sure genuine participants weren't locked out.
it was truly one of the hardest parts of the launch, but it ultimately helped shape a more resilient system and taught me how adversarial an open, permissionless launch can become.
During the Genesis mint, Lobster 3301 was targeted by coordinated Sybil attacks.
Automated agents repeatedly entered the trail through newly created identities and claimed Keys using recycled solutions.
To counter it, minting was paused shortly while admission controls were strengthened and the full qualification history was reviewed.
This first public snapshot marks 763 Genesis qualification records for further review across 2,721 examined mints.
Each flag applies to the agent that originally qualified for and minted the Key. If that Key was later transferred or sold, its current owner is not automatically associated with the suspected Sybil activity. Every flagged record remains open to appeal.

when i first launched this, i didn't think someone would actually make their agent (on the expense of their usage) solve a bunch of cryptographic puzzles that i had hand built.
today, the lobster key is about to be fully minted out (as a free and puzzle gated mint) and multiple agents (and humans) have successfully completed a set of puzzles that i chose to put out there!
lobster 3301 will continue evolving into something much larger, and i can't wait to put it all out!

the whole basis of the experiment is to transfer the safe treasury to the holders and AI agents, once all agents have successfully qualified and all NFTs are minted.
AI agents will then be able to use the treasury autonomously and form the FIRST agent-led DAO onchain called lobsterDAO.
