We wrapped up August with another insightful lunch and learn session in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) - Toronto and Mental Health Works!
A big thank you to Pierrick Gacinya for leading such a grounding session. Thanks to his guidance, we practiced establishing actionable practices to enhance our well-being wherever we work; across remote, hybrid, and in-person work environments.
A few takeaways from our discussion to keep our balance:
🌿 Boundaries: Move your laptop out of the bedroom or take a short walk to start or end your workday with a routine.
🌿 Screen Fatigue: Step away from all devices periodically and try the box breathing method to reset focus.
🌿 Connection: Drop in for a quick, casual chat with a teammate to keep relationships strong.
No matter where we connect from, finding a healthy rhythm takes intentional effort. Putting our well-being first and supporting each other is what makes our work meaningful. Cheers to more conversations like this!
