I wonder how a Vein who was treated as human and did grow up in a loving home would have been as an adult. I do think that it is that despite all this, it’s important to remember he is still, in fact, human. Love him or hate him, evil or misguided—he’s still human.

This is part of why i want to see vein’s full story from his perspective, not from cxs’, not from another person’s opinion, and not retold in passing. I think it is telling how a person so frequently dehumanized clearly held onto a small bit of kindness he was shown as a kid
